Introducing the first SCIO Innovation Challenge, SCIO Automation has launched an innovation competition for students, graduates, PhD students and founders in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The competition on the topic of autonomous mobile robotics calls for technical concepts for AMR applications. Participants benefit from intensive exchange and close collaboration with our AMR experts from 4am robotics.
Until 31/12/2022, participants will have the opportunity to develop initial technical concepts in various AMR fields. These include sensor technology, AI-based image processing, AI-based environment recognition, traffic management, detection of rain and snow, utilization of vehicle fleets and energy management, as well as object handling and autonomous navigation.
The teams with the most promising submissions will be invited to a workshop week at our 4am robotics site in Lower Bavaria in late February 2023. During this week, they will work on the next steps of their concepts in close collaboration with our AMR experts. The workshop week will kick off an intensive joint work phase, with students preparing their final pitches for the award ceremony in mid-April 2023. The expert jury will award the winners with prize money of €5,000 (1st place), €2,500 (2nd +3rd place).
