Experience Technology: Our First 6 Trade Show Highlights of 2025

Written by SCIO Automation | Jul 1, 2025 5:15:00 AM

Six trade shows. Six cities. Countless encounters – and a whole lot of tech you don’t just see, but experience. That’s how we kicked off our 2025 exhibition season. From Tokyo to Duisburg, from cutting-edge electronics to smart automation in the food industry. Welcome to our first round of trade show highlights!

Moment 1: NEPCON JAPAN - Debut in Tokyo

📍 Location: Tokyo, Japan | 🗓️ Date: January 2025

Together with BRUX JAPAN CO. LTD., #memberofscio Fabmatics made its first appearance at one of Asia’s leading electronics manufacturing trade shows. Mobile robots, modular handling systems, precision solutions – live and hands-on with a tech-savvy audience. A meaningful cultural exchange at eye level, leaving a lasting impression.

Moment 2:  All About Automation – Micrometer over marketing buzz

📍 Location: Friedrichshafen, GER | 🗓️ Date: February 2025

Here, it was all about what you can see, measure, and fine-tune – with micrometer precision. Our assembly automation, testing stations, and metrology solutions drew in a curious crowd.

Highlight: Active alignment – adjusting camera lenses directly on the sensor, fully integrated into the production line.

“We’ve been passionate about automated alignment systems, testing stations, and calibration tools for over 20 years. So it was amazing to connect through so many valuable conversations and get to showcase our technology in person. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by!”

Moment 3: Lounges Cleanroom & Process –  Clarity that connects

📍 Location: Karlsruhe, GER | 🗓️ Date: June 2025

The Lounges are where we trade surface-level talk for real depth. This year, our VESCON Process team engaged in especially insightful conversations with the cleanroom community. Top of the list: Introducing our new out-of-the-box solution, XI Batch – our interface for automating, controlling, and monitoring batch processes between ERP and the DCS (Distributed Control System).

"Our software is built on real-world needs, not PowerPoint slides — practical, affordable, and it actually makes things more efficient for our customers. That’s exactly how software should be today."

Klaus Hartenbach, Teamlead SCIO Business Segment Process Automation, VESCON Process

With solutions from sister companies PrintoLUX and Schiller Cleanroom Intralogistics (SCI) on board, the VESCON Process team showcased what makes SCIO strong: cross-discipline collaboration with a sharp focus on customer needs. And yes – 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger. VESCON Process and PrintoLUX will join forces officially, with one shared booth and one strong team. #teamsprint

Moment 4: IFFA Frankfurt & iba Düsseldorf –  TARO meets dough and protein

📍 Location: Frankfurt & Düsseldorf, GER | 🗓️ Date: May 2025

How do you automate transport processes in the sensitive world of food production?

Our TARO shuttle from MFI turned heads at IFFA – not just a tech highlight, but a real conversation starter about the future of meat and protein processing. Five days later: scene change – from the butcher shop to the bakery. Same shuttle, new setting – this time surrounded by croissants, snacks, and creative industry solutions.

“What we’re showing here isn’t just tech. It’s a real answer to real-world challenges in food processing.”

Moment 5: Automate Show – CEC in the thick of it

📍 Location: Detroit, Michigan USA | 🗓️ Date: May 2025

CEC Controls joined the Automate Show in Michigan for the first time – now officially a #memberofscio. In tow:

  •  A smart AMR from sister company 4am Robotics
  •  Vision technologie with the precision of a Swiss watch
  • Our modular MES—so flexible, you'd think it just came from a yoga class

Moment 6: Future Logistics – Full stream ahead

📍 Location: Duisburg, GER | 🗓️ Date: May 2025

This time, we dropped anchor at the Museum der Deutschen Binnenschifffahrt in Duisburg. As sponsor and automation expert, we navigated familiar waters – with our home base right in Duisburg and a deep well of tech expertise on board.

The spotlight? Automation and robotics – areas where we know our stuff. Also on deck: Bastian Mauritz (Head of Sales & Business Development, SCIO Segment Warehouse Intrasolutions), who joined a panel discussion on:

„Human vs. Machine? How automation is reshaping logistics!“

What's next?

These six shows were just the beginning – we’ve got plenty more coming up: new events, fresh formats, and lots of chances to keep pushing technology forward together. What we’re taking with us: technology shines brightest when it’s not isolated – but grounded in real relationships. In partnerships that are curious, open, and built on collaboration. Just like us at SCIO.

Thanks to everyone who joined us – at the booths, in conversations, and with brilliant ideas. You’re the momentum behind everything that’s coming next.
