As of April 1, 2025, the Cleanroom division of Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH has been operating as an independent company under the name SCI GmbH. This strategic move enables the company to place an even stronger focus on customized cleanroom intralogistics solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries.

Disclaimer: Foundation of SCI GmbH - The Cleanroom division of Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH becomes an independent company.

Schiller is known for delivering innovative automation solutions for industrial applications. More than 15 years ago, the company expanded into a new field by developing particle-reduced storage solutions and corresponding transport systems for cleanroom environments in the semiconductor and electronics sectors. Today, SCI’s systems enable fully automated material flow along entire cleanroom production lines. What once started as an additional business area has evolved into an important and expanding business unit. To tap the full potential of this specialized segment and sharpen its focus, the cleanroom division has now been spun off into a separate company – SCI GmbH.

Strategic Development with Future Potential

With its new independence, SCI GmbH can further expand its core competencies and accelerate the development and implementation of innovative solutions. As part of the international SCIO Automation platform, SCI also benefits from a strong global network and the ability to collaborate with other companies in the Cleanroom Technologies business segment.

This creates the ideal conditions to respond flexibly to market demands and deliver forward-looking solutions for cleanroom intralogistics.

“The foundation of SCI GmbH is a key milestone to further strengthen our innovation capabilities in cleanroom intralogistics,” says Markus Haider. “We look forward to shaping the future with tailored solutions and even greater flexibility.”
