New Partnership in Japan: BRUX Japan Becomes Exclusive Distributor for Fabmatics

Fabmatics signs exclusive distribution agreement with BRUX Japan. With local support on the ground, the German cleanroom automation specialist strengthens its presence in Japan’s semiconductor industry.
The German automation specialist Fabmatics, a member of the SCIO Automation Group, has officially signed an exclusive distribution agreement with BRUX Japan. The two companies have been working together since September 2023, with BRUX Japan initially supporting Fabmatics as a local service partner. With the new agreement in place, BRUX now also acts as the exclusive distributor for Fabmatics solutions in the Japanese market.
With its strong expertise in high-tech manufacturing and customer service, BRUX Japan is well positioned to represent Fabmatics' automation technologies for cleanrooms and semiconductor factories throughout Japan.
Fabmatics, headquartered in Dresden, Germany, specializes in the automation of material flow and handling processes in cleanroom environments – particularly within the semiconductor industry. The company’s portfolio includes advanced robotics, handling, and transport systems that meet the highest cleanliness requirements (up to ISO Class 3). As part of the SCIO Automation, Fabmatics spearheads the group's cleanroom automation segment and contributes to smart factory solutions alongside 1,800 colleagues across eight countries.
Fabmatics systems are already in successful operation at major semiconductor manufacturing sites in Japan. With BRUX Japan now acting as a local sales and service partner, customers in Japan will benefit from even closer support – from consulting and implementation to after-sales service.
This strategic partnership marks an important step in expanding Fabmatics' footprint in the Japanese market and further strengthens the global reach of SCIO Automation.
