In September 2024, we took the first big step: VESCON GmbH became SCIO Automation GmbH. In the following months of 2025, more and more Members of SCIO committed to the SCIO Automation brand - especially in our business segments Warehouse Intrasolutions and Production Solutions. The rebranding here was truly a team effort: several companies with long histories and strong profiles brought their expertise together under the SCIO umbrella. What might seem like just a new name on the surface was, behind the scenes, an intense process—full of coordination, openness to change, and a shared commitment to becoming stronger together.

Rebranding at SCIO: Less Complexity. More Value for Our Customers.
We have a clear goal: end-to-end automation from a single source- innovative, tailored, and reliable. For years, our Member of SCIO brands have supported companies along the entire value chain on their journey to the Smart Factory. In 2024/2025, we began to unite what we practice every day in our brand identity as well. Many individual brands are gradually becoming one strong brand: SCIO Automation. A shared logo? Yes. But more importantly: a shared promise.
From many individual brands to one strong SCIO team

What happened internally - and how it felt
Let’s be honest: it was never just about putting a new logo on the door. A rebranding isn’t a sprint—it’s a journey we take together. We sat down, sorted things out, and reimagined our future. Sometimes meetings ran longer than planned, sometimes ideas needed time to mature. But it was exactly this process that brought us closer together as SCIO Automation. We sharpened our values, pooled our strengths, and evolved our brand positioning as a team. And yes -sometimes there was even purple confetti on the floor. Because change isn’t just work; it’s also something to celebrate.
And that’s exactly what we did at our Brand Days - our company-wide rebranding events from Duisburg, Ilmenau, Eching, Osterhofen, Benningen am Neckar, Nieheim, and Albersdorf-Prebuch all the way to Querétaro and Rochester Hills. It was important to us that the rebranding wasn’t just something on paper, but something everyone could feel. Our teams at each location really went all in: quick sessions on goals and collaboration, Q&As with honest questions - and, above all, lots of little moments that made the big picture tangible. Conversations over lunch, laughter in the hallways, purple decorations popping up everywhere.

And then there was this line that stuck with us: "PURPLE NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD." Somehow, that said it all. The best part: it didn’t stop after one day. With every SCIO event, from the Townhall to the BASF Cup Run, it became clear: we’re not just a brand, we’re people now wearing the same jersey - one team, on the field and in every project.
